Fabric is cut in continuous lengths (eg: quantity 3m = 3metres in one continuous piece). All prices are in AUD. We endeavor to continuous cut all our orders, but do not guarantee all quantities will be supplied in one continuous length.
Our minimum cut is 50cm (sale items, swatches, fat quarters and luxury fabrics exempt). We cut in continuous lengths. There maybe an exception to this if large quantities are ordered from a single product line. In this case you may receive your fabric in seperate pieces.
Fabric widths vary from 70cm – 150cm wide, measurements are written on each product description.
Fabric weights may vary considerably. Lightweights are mostly used for clothing and quilting, medium and heavy weight fabrics are generally used for home décor. Fabric weights are given in each item description.
Colours may vary from those shown on your computer screen. Every care has been taken to provide accurate photographs of our products but as some computer screens may vary in colour and contrast variations may occur. If you are at all unsure of your choice please purchase a swatch from our swatch section prior to ordering.
Motif sizes are given on each item description. This will give an idea of the scaling and size of the motif print. All fabric types are susceptible to shrinkage and fading.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the Website. As the actual colours you see depend on your computer monitor, however, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.
Cancellation of Order
Once an order has been placed it cannot be cancelled as all orders are prepared shortly after they have been received.
We accept the following methods for payment:

Sorry, no bank deposits, personal cheques or money orders at this stage.
Fabrictraders.com.au offers registered shipping for all orders and free shipping for all orders over $89 (excludes New Zealand customers). In most instances we use couriers to send your order. We may use, at our discretion, Australia Post to deliver. Whichever we use, your order will be dispatched 72 working hours after payment has been confirmed. Delivery then takes another 3-10 days depending on your postcode. The exemption are cushion covers, these will be dispatched five working days from order and payment confirmation as these are all hand sewn and made to order.
With the exception of New Zealand we do not post internationally at this stage.
Please note Western Australian and Northern Territory customers: your order will take between 10-12 working days to arrive (unless you choose express post on checkout).
Should you provide us with the incorrect address or contact information we accept no responsibility for your order.
Express Post does not mean overnight. It means your order will go to the front of the queue, cut & packed first and will be sent Australia Post Express. Most orders sent this way will be received in 2-3 working days. Please note some postcodes fall out of the overnight service please see Australia Post website for more details.
Coupons and Gift Vouchers
Only one coupon of giftvoucher/coupon can be used per order. Expiry dates are final. Coupon codes must be entered on cehckout to apply. No discounts will be given after checkout.
At fabrictraders.com.au we take time to prepare your order with care. All orders are triple checked before they are sent to ensure your goods arrive as ordered. If you believe your item is incorrect, damaged or faulty you must notify us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org within 5 days of receipt. Once we have received the goods and confirmed they are faulty or incorrect a replacement of the same item will be sent by registered post, unless the goods are out of stock then a refund (including return postage) or store credit will be given. All goods must be returned to us via registered mail to:

We do not refund or exchange if you have a change of mind about your purchase for any reason including your colour choice, however we are happy to offer a store credit if the goods are returned to us (via registered mail) in a saleable condition. Custom made cushions, Pre orders, Luxury fabrics and swatches are excluded and cannot be returned under any circumstances. If you are sending any goods please mail to the same address noted above. We will contact you once the goods are received and advise how to use your store credit voucher. Postage costs will not be included in credits.
Please check your fabric carefully before cutting it as once this has been done a refund or exchange will not be accepted.
Sale items, pre orders, cushions and swatches cannot be returned for any reason.
Custom Cushion orders once placed cannot be changed.
